We're extremely excited to announce the launch of our long-awaited debut album 'Prohibition Blues'. The launch party will be on Thursday 10th November at The Vault, Swansea. Tickets are £5 for the night, there will be a support act (as yet unannounced) and we'll be selling the album for only £10.
We'll be playing the album in full, and selling the CD for the first time. This is the culmination of three years' work for us honing the jug band blues we hold so dear. The album is half classics, half originals, and we're so proud of it that we can't wait any longer for you to hear it!

The Rumblestrutters bring the Prohibition era to your party! The Swansea-based acoustic threepiece vividly evoke the blues, jazz and jug band music of the 1920s, and have a reputation as one of the UK's premier roots bands, with stellar performances at festivals and functions across the UK and beyond!Started when Jon Toft (vocals, mandolin, banjo) found an old ink jug at the back of a cupboard, the band features the masterful guitar-playing and voice of Jonathan Nicholas, and Liam Ward on vocals, harmonica, jug and washboard.
Luscious harmonies and virtuosity combine in songs of bootleg liquor and bacchanalia, tapped from a rich musical source. The Rumblestrutters are the authentic sound of the Prohibition era!
